“At my late Mother’s funeral, one of her favourites songs, ‘On Days Like These’ by Matt Monroe (also cremated at Golders Green Crematorium where my Mother was cremated) was played and the song inspired me to write the lyrics to our song ‘On Days Like These’ the lyrics of which I read at the ceremony when my Mother’s ashes were scattered. Before her ashes were scattered, my daughter said a few words and she asked if my Mother could show us a sign that she was with us? As my daughter said that, and exactly as she said that her phone she was holding suddenly buzzed in response, and afterwards I checked the phone history and there were no calls or messages recorded at that time”!
